Frances is our visionary. The founder and owner of Village Global is also a wife and mother to four children. A passionate advocate for education, as well as an accomplished opera singer, Frances has long used her voice to improve the standard of education and inclusion in the UK and internationally.
Her dedication for providing quality education for all shines through her philanthropic efforts, namely the Uhambo Foundation, a charity which seeks to enable children with disabilities to live full and satisfying lives, which Frances is a founder and director.
Frances has drawn on her own resources for many philanthropic endeavours. She believes now is the time to inspire and direct change and solve the social problems that many face at home and around the globe. Her goal is for “successful integration for every(little)body”
Frances has a wealth of experience in Early Years’ settings, having rescued failing businesses and turned them into local success stories. She heads Village Global Nurseries, a group which successfully caters to the needs of children and the communities around them, in both Henley-on-Thames and London.
Annamaria is a mum of three teenagers and Researcher for Village Global. She is a passionate early years educator, having a deeply rooted experience and knowledge of the Montessori philosophy as a mother, a student, a nursery manager, a childminder and a tutor
Annamaria holds an International Diploma and Foundation Degree in Montessori Pedagogy (MCI, London) and BA in Early Childhood Development (LMU, London) and believes in caring for and educating children with utmost respect and love through reflective practice and lives by the words:
‘Only love for the child, united with a scientific knowledge, can truly start the process of a ‘new education’ capable of helping in the development of human beings ready for our new world.’
A passionate digital editor, specialising in launch and relaunch projects, content strategy, creating digital profiles for brands and social network development Kate joined Village Global in 2020 as Content and Brand Creator. As a mum of three Kate has a personal as well as professional interest in improving the quality of early years provision for all children and families.
Our Executive Assistant Lucie has supported Frances, our founder and director since September 2018. She is a mother of two girls and has over twenty years’ experience working in various Investor Relation, Corporate Broking and administrative roles, mainly within the financial sector based in London, having also passed her FCA exams in 2008. Lucie is a keen athlete whose interests and hobbies include marathon running, cycling and swimming and well as cooking, travel and spending time with her family.
